Refund policy
We make earplugs to last years, not weeks — and if something isn't right with yours, we'll sort it out.
30-day return window
You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to request a return. Earplugs must be unused, unworn, and in their original packaging to be eligible.
What can be returned
- Unused non-custom earplugs in original packaging
- Accessories (cases, sleeves, cords) in original packaging
- Unopened gift bundles and packs
What can't be returned
For hygiene reasons (EU Directive 2011/83), the following are non-returnable:
- Used or opened earplugs — anything that's been in an ear
- Custom-molded products (Performer, Sleeper) — these are made-to-fit and can't be resold
If you received a defective custom product, contact us — we'll arrange a replacement under warranty.
How to start a return
Email info@earproof.com with:
- Your order number
- Which item(s) you'd like to return
- Reason (so we can improve)
We'll confirm within 1 business day and send you a return shipping label or instructions.
Return shipping costs
- Defective, damaged, or wrong item: we pay the return shipping
- Change of mind: you pay return shipping (we recommend a tracked service)
Refund timing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process the refund within 3 business days to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 2–5 business days to appear in your account.
Damaged or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged or contains a wrong item, email us within 14 days of delivery with photos. We'll send a replacement at no cost.
Your EU consumer rights
EU residents have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83. Our 30-day policy gives you more time than required by law.
